I’m also highly proficient with Excel, QuickBooks (Desktop and Online), Simply Accounting, BQE Core Project Management, and other tools to deliver actionable insights efficiently.

Barbara Mahony MSc, BEd
I transitioned into the dynamic world of entrepreneurship after a brief career in the education system as a high school math teacher. It was during that time I realized I had a stronger passion for working with computers than managing classrooms full of hormonal teenagers.
In 2008, I earned my Bookkeeping Certificate (Honours) and launched my own bookkeeping business — a decision I’ve never regretted.
Very quickly, I built a reputation for effectively resolving client issues with precision and care. My keen attention to detail, strong accounting knowledge, and deep familiarity with bookkeeping software are highly valued by my clients.
My technical skills include proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Dext, and Microsoft Dynamics, among others. I’m also highly skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, which I use extensively to streamline and optimize bookkeeping processes — ultimately saving my clients both time and money.
